1. Receipt

Our fulfilment process starts with the receipt of goods, i.e. your stock. All products are carefully unpacked, checked and entered into our IT system. We maintain tight service levels for this. If we receive your goods in the morning, we will process them into your stock the same day.

2. Stock management

In all our fulfilment centres, we work with an AutoStore storage bin system. In total, we have more than 170,000 bins to store your products. Are your items not suitable for the AutoStore due to their size or weight? Then we also have pallet and shelf racks. Your products are stored dust-free, well-secured and compact. This is how we keep your footprint and ours as small as possible.

3. Order picking

As soon as a customer places an order in your webshop, our AutoStore goes to work for you immediately. We work with two types of robots: one retrieves goods from the bin, the other brings the products to the order picker. Combined with automated and manual checks during order picking, the error rate in our fulfilment process is minimal.

4. Packing

Our automatic packing machines pack orders to size. If your parcel does not fit into one of our machines, our expert fulfilment staff will be on hand to pack your parcel manually. In both cases, we work with environmentally conscious and high-quality packaging materials, so that the parcels arrive at their destination in optimal condition.

5. Shipping

At Active Ants, we have an excellent national and international network. This allows us to engage the most suitable carrier(s) for each country. With us, you can easily select multiple carriers and delivery options. Think of period delivery and pick-up points, for example. We ship worldwide.

6. Returns processing

The fulfilment process does not stop after shipping. Many industries experience high return rates. At Active Ants, we inspect returned items, prepare them for sale again if possible and take them back into stock. Moreover, our returns process is set up according to the strict requirements of platforms such as Zalando and Amazon. Quite convenient if you are selling through these platforms.
